| Bio: | I'm a grad student at Louisiana Tech getting a masters in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in family and child development. I'm not sure what I want to do with it yet, but luckily I still have time to figure that part out. I'm very involved in two organizations both of which mean a lot to me because each one has helped change my life. The first is the Wesley Foundation at Louisiana Tech. In the last year and a half my faith has become very important to me. I try to always put God first in my life although I’m not always as successful at this as I’d like to be. I've been blessed enough to find an amazing group of Christians who have stepped into my life and helped me to see how awesome being in relationship with God can be. The second group is the National Federation of the Blind (NFB). As a result of my involvement in the NFB I’ve learned what blindness is, or moreover what is not. I know that if it weren’t for my involvement in both of these organizations I wouldn’t be the person I am today!
